In short

• You don't create an account and you don't provide any personal data.
• Message history is stored only on your device.
• Our server never stores or logs message content — only technical metadata (method, path, status, response time).
• The app contains no ads, no analytics and no tracking tools.

What data we process and why

The only content we process is the message (and the optional situation context) that you yourself type in to have it transformed into the language of empathy. This content is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our proxy server and then to the Google Gemini language model (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), which generates the empathetic version of your message. We do not store, log or use this content for any other purpose.

Processing by Google is governed by the Gemini API terms. We do not pass Google any identifiers of you or your device.

Data stored on your device

Transformation history, your name (if you provide one), the selected language and settings are kept solely in the app's local storage. You can delete them at any time in More → “Clear history”, or by uninstalling the app.

What we don't do

• We don't create user profiles and we don't require sign-in.
• We don't sell or share data with third parties (apart from the content processing by the Gemini API and RevenueCat, Inc. described below).
• The app itself uses no cookies, advertising or analytics SDKs. The website uses Google Analytics only with your consent (see “Website: cookies and analytics” below), and subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat (see “Subscriptions and payments”).
• We don't know and don't store your location.

Security

All app–server–Gemini communication happens exclusively over HTTPS. The proxy server applies rate limits to prevent abuse and has no user database.

Children

The app is educational in nature and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

We will announce significant changes in app update notes and on this page.

Website: cookies and analytics

The empatycznykompan.pl website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) only after you consent via the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2 — before consent, all signals are set to “denied”). Once you consent, GA4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*, valid for up to 13 months) and provides us with aggregate visit statistics. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookies” in the site footer. The data recipient is Google; see Google's privacy policy for details.

Subscriptions and payments (app)

Subscription purchases are handled by the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google) — they process the payment; we never see your card details. To manage subscription entitlements we use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA), which receives an anonymous installation identifier and transaction information (product, status, renewal dates). RevenueCat does not receive the content of your messages or data such as your name or e-mail address. Details: RevenueCat's privacy policy.
